Cuando empezamos a tener entrevistas con las familias, siempre nuestra mayor duda es: Que les podemos preguntar a la familia, a los niños.... y lo peor que nos preguntaran ellos a nosotras, entonces aquí van una serie de preguntas que vi en el blog de Erika (La maleta de una Au Pair) http://www.lamaletadeunaaupair.com/2013/05/consejos-aupair-entrevistas-familias.html que me ayudaron mucho a la hora de hablar con las host familys, lo que yo hacia es que las tomaba como guía y ya luego depende la familia y de la información que tu ya tengas, las personalizaba, les aumentaba cosas o simplemente les quitaba:

La entrevista con los niños creería yo que es una parte fundamental en las entrevistas, porque es allí donde los host parents tomaran la decisión si realmente Tu seras un bien partido para sus niños.

Yo, realmente no tuve que hacer este tipo de preguntas porque My host family nunca ha tenido una au pair, Yo seré la primera de la familia, así que igual para las que si tengan que pasar por esta parte en las entrevistas, aquí les dejo las preguntas que Erika recomienda hacer:

Estas dependen de las necesidades de cada familia, pero la mayoría hacen estas mismas preguntas, obviamente pueden variar cosas , pero yo creo que con esta lista se pueden ir guiando y dándose una idea más clara de que les podrían preguntar, estas preguntas que voy a escribir son las que a mi en lo personal me hicieron, así que pienso que les podría ayudar bastante, para que las estudien lo mejor posible:

Perdón si esta entrada se hizo muy muyyy larga, pero realmente trate de cortarla lo más posible, disculpas si tengo errores gramaticales pero pues ya entenderán que no soy perfecta en esto del tema del inglés, espero que las preguntas les sirvan... para terminar quiero darles unos pequeños consejos para las entrevistas con las familias:
- Cuando llegue una familia a tu perfil , trata de leer absolutamente todo
- Si tu nivel de inglés no es tan bueno, trata de estudiar las preguntas y sus respuestas, no para sonar como un robot repitiendo pero si para que puedas desenvolverte mucho mejor en la entrevista
- No te de pena preguntar todo lo que se te ocurra (por mas bobo que parezca) a las familias les gusta saber que tu estas interesada en saber más acerca de ellos, así que no se molestaran, obviamente de primera no los vayan a bombardear a punta de preguntas, eso va fluyendo a través de las conversaciones que tengas con ellos
- IMPORTANTE!! Primero pregunten acerca de los niños, de sus gustos, de tu responsabilidad con ellos , todo acerca de la familia, de sus ocupaciones... en fin... por ÚLTIMO.. pregunten acerca de tiempo libre, de si tendrán el carro para sus días Off, de vacaciones.. (no se les ocurra preguntar esto de primera pues realmente este es un trabajo y lo primordial tienen que ser los niños, así que no la vayan a embarrar , porque los host parents se llevaran una mala impresión de ti y no van a querer a alguien que le importa más saber sobre otras cosas que lo que realmente es primordial en este programa que son los NIÑOS.)
- En la entrevista, siempre sonrían , sean amables, llevan un vestuario adecuado para la ocasión (nada de escotes) y otra cosa que es importante no se vayan con ninguna familia solo porque tienen afán de irse, traten de preguntar todo y de tomar la mejor decisión, lo mejor es elegir a una familia que se asemeje más a nuestro tipo de vida, es cierto que vamos a conocer y a aprender de otras culturas pero créeme que por ejemplo yo, nunca me hubiese ido con una familia que es vegana, o que no celebra ningún tipo de festividades, por qué? porque realmente sé que no vamos a encajar y que no pasaré un año agradable al lado de una familia así, entonces tómenlo con calma, que ya llegara esa familia perfecta para ti...
